Elegant drop earrings inspired by the sleek grace of swifts in flight.

I make each swift using a technique called press forming, where I hammer flat silver sheet into a former, which gives each piece its gently, convex domed profile. I then hand pierce (saw) each 3 dimensional swift shape out from the piece of silver sheet.

The earrings are available in a choice of finishes:

• Satin finish with contrasting polished edges

• Lace texture

• Leaf skeleton texture

• Subtle polished finish

The earrings have a tiny silver nugget soldered to their backs to enhance their gentle movement whilst being worn.

Also available as stud earrings.

Each pair of earrings is handmade, making them uniquely beautiful. There may be slight variations from the images shown.

Size

The birds measure approx. 17mm from nose to tail and have a wing span of 25mm.

Hook wires on drop earrings are approximately 17mm from top to bottom.
