These rings are each topped with a cup-shaped collet. The cup shapes have been designed precisely to snugly stack together, so you can mix and match different colour combinations.

Each cup has six equally spaced trillion-shaped cut outs in it. As well as being a design feature, the cut outs increase the light available to show the stones’ brilliance.

Each stone is rubover set to ensure that they sit well next to a ring with or without a stone.

The ring bands are oval in cross section, making them really comfortable to wear.

Size

5mm round, faceted stones.

Top of setting: approximately 7mm in diameter.

Ring band: approximately 2.4mm wide.

Materials

Rings are made from solid sterling silver and are hallmarked in Birmingham. Stones are: natural amethyst and peridot; synthetic green and turquoise cubic zirconia or synthetic ruby (the same chemical composition as a naturally occurring ruby, but grown in a laboratory). My “scattered trillions” collection was inspired by the shape of “trillion cut” gemstones – equilateral triangles with gently curved sides.
